Who we are
Urban Ice Cream has been in business since April 2011.
I could not find a reasonable paying job and met someone, who knew someone else, who had an ice cream truck for sale. Long story short, I bought the truck with my last bit of savings and have been selling ice cream on the street and at private functions as Urban Ice Cream in Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, and Broward and Palm Beach counties ever since!
What we do
We cater to any function you can think of. The most common event would be a birthday party or corporate employee appreciation. For example, an orthodontist hired us to go to 5-10 dental offices to bring them ice cream in appreciation of their business or referrals. Whether marketing, promoting your business, or any way you're trying to get the word out, the ice cream truck definitely gets people's attention. The ice cream truck is an awesome marketing tool. If you have an idea, we will put it to the test.
We currently operate in Broward, Miami/Dade and West Palm Beach counties. Occasionally, we also go to the Keys.
What we serve
- We carry what is referred to as novelty ice cream or packaged ice cream. We can provide soft serve or scooped ice cream as well.
- We currently carry 17 choices of novelty ice cream, but with many larger parties we use a fixed menu of 4-6 choices. Sometimes too many choices are confusing and too slow for fast service or large amounts of people. I will guide you as to what is the best way to go based on your needs. The brands that we currently carry are Blue Bunny, Rich's Ice Cream and Good Humor. Most or all are kosher. Please call and we will customize your party or event.

WHAT WE DO
On a typical day we operate our food truck in Miami, Broward, and Palm Beach counties. We serve breakfast, lunch and desserts (subs, sandwiches, salads, espresso and more). We pull up, complete your order, and move on. We do not usually sit for long periods of time. You can also call and order ahead. We are generally fast. - Over nine years ago I could not find a reasonable paying job. Took a chance and bought an ice cream truck (Urban Ice Cream). I started selling ice cream mostly in places where people work (office/industrial parks). Over the years, people constantly asked me for something to eat. I said, "Wouldn't it be cool to have a truck that could serve food on the go?"

This is my new addition to the fleet.
2010 Ford shuttle bus. I converted it from scratch. It took 5 months to build in my backyard. It carries subs, salads, espresso, milkshakes, smoothies and scooped ice cream. It is built to move around and sell on the go. Open windows and constant power. It runs on a large battery bank. I also use it for ice cream truck parties on occasion.
